Welcome! I'm Ashley Thompson and I have always loved working with my hands and creating all kinds of things. I am starting a new chapter in my life as a part-time artist. I work full-time as a Patient Account Rep. I am a single mother with a 8 year old son. This should be fun, it's been my dream since I was a little girl to be a full-time artist. I thought if I don't try now it's never going to happen.
I love working with mixed media because it is so forgiving. If there is something that didn't turn out how I expected I can change it with more paint, paper or stamps. It is a process in which I start with an idea and it just flows from there. It is so much fun to see what the finish product is when you get done with all the layers and can see different pieces peeking through.
