What I Want In My Art Studio...

I did a treasury this morning on things I would like in my art studio. I just started actually working on art the last couple of weeks. I just work out of a spare room in my house. I used to paint and draw all the time but then when I had my son I really didn't have time being a single mom. I would love to have a small yurt in the back yard with lots of windows. I have always been very fascinated with yurts. Stop by and check out my treasury.

Kindness painting

Something I painted last night. I need to order a lettering book to do better writing. In the background of this painting there is sheet music and a clipping from a SUN magazine about kindness. There also is a photo I took of a sunflower.

Nature Walk

My son and I went on a nature walk today and I got some neat photos. He brought along his Curious George metal lunch box and collected all kinds of things. I got a new macro lens a couple weeks ago and was testing it out.

Pets painting

Last night I made a painting with a dog and cat, because there is a lady at my work that rescues animals and she is after me to incorporate animals into my paintings. I think it turned out OK. Tell me what you think.

Homesteading painting and new painting

I listed the Homesteading painting last night on my Etsy shop. Please stop by and check it out. I made a painting last night for someone at work. She has a daughter that lives and breathes sports. She asked me if I could make a painting including the psalm 96:12 and softball stiches. She showed me a picture she found on pinterest but wanted me to make it fluorescent yellow like the softballs they use here. Now that was a hard color to match with the supplies I have. Thank god I ordered new paints the other day they came just in time. Well have a good friday I will be working on more paintings tonight with my new supplies I just got yesterday from http://www.dickblick.com.

A BIG Thanks to my friend Heather for buying two of my paintings. I really appreciate it that my friends are so supportive. Here is pictures of the ones she bought. I just made the girl silhouette last night. I really like how both of these turned out. I hope she enjoys them!

Sold two Paintings today

I sold two paintings today that is exciting. One of them is my crazy haired mermaid and the other is a bird. I don't really like how the crazy haired mermaid turned out. The person who bought it says it reminded her of her daughter. It's funny how we all see something different in artwork. I wish I could get more people to read my blog and like my facebook but I just don't know how to get myself out there. Well goodnight world....
